Made a few updates to the SimSinghl ecommerce website to show off some new features, updates and of course their summer menswear and womenswear offers.

We’ve added a slide show to give visitors a quick visual cue as to what the site has to offer, as well as highlighted a couple of products. There’s a simplified navigation, additional sale page and the website is also now running on WordPress 3.0 which after some testing here seems nice and stable with core  updates from 2.x being painless enough.

There are a host of new templating options with wp3 which would have saved a little time on custom tweaks we initially made on the SimSinghl theme but it’s nice to see these features become standard.

There’s the usual bits n bobs but we’ve also recently made a website for Hinckley and Leicester accountants Abrahamson Foster, working on a summer look for SimSinghl’s clothing ecommerce platform and of course making a few updates to this website … pretty much all WordPress now I think about it.

Devolved.co.uk is now running on WordPress 3.0 the platform has added some great new features that let you have even greater control over your website. I’ll be testing it out over the next week or so and seeing how we can make the most of 3.0 and what it can do for our clients.

Was browsing a friends website when I came across his business card design section. I really like this example especially the rounded corners (though I admit this may be due to too much web design), bright and appealing.

Then I remembered why I don’t use business cards … because mine suck. True mine are almost as old as the business but it’s something I really should address, my world maybe mostly paperless but the world of business isn’t quite. Yet.
